Suiting: Canali (Harry Rosen) | Topcoat: REGO Bespoke Clothiers | Shoes: Loding

Having worked in the corporate world for years, suiting up everyday was part of my routine. A sharp suit and a cup of coffee, and I’d be out the door. With demanding hours, tight timelines and the commute, sometimes it feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day.

With the busyness of work and life, I think we can all agree convenience is key. Location is everything, and whether it’s a break between meetings or you’re leaving the office, I love that you can pop in and grab what you need from a great variety of stores at the First Canadian Place & Exchange Tower. Harry Rosen is a great one-stop shop for me. They have a great selection for the everyday man, as well as the luxury brands. For many of my suits, I do like to customize by picking fabrics and tailoring, and REGO Bespoke Clothiers offers a lot of options. Also, for shirts, shoes, and accessories, Loding has got a great variety and friendly service. After some shopping, I’ll catch my transit which is conveniently linked underground and head home.

On the nights where I’m headed from work to dinner, I’ll dress my look down depending on the restaurant/venue. My key tip? Layering! When taking my look from day to night, layering is essential — it gives you versatility. A piece like a sport coat can be easily dressed down when heading from work to dinner, when you lose the tie or that sweater over your button-up. The transition is seamless and looks effortless.
