“Casual Vibes, that’s my weakness”

If I could dress in a t-shirt and some slacks to the office, I would – I’m all about comfort.

So how can one remain comfortable and casual, while making it all look effortless in a

sharply tailored suit? Well, keep that tee on and invest in three items: 1. A fun pocket

square, 2. A pair of reflective shades, and 3. A pair of minimalist slip-on shoes. Put that

together and you’ve got the case of ‘Casual Cool’, my friend. Sometimes you’ve gotta suit

down to enjoy your day turned into night in the city. Wear this look to an ice cream date

with your lady, to the lounge over some drinks with friends, and everything in between –

make sure to snap some pics along the way!

Looking for some shades? I’ve got you covered. Check out alternate pairs to wear below.

“Sometimes the best statement, is no statement.”

You can never go wrong wearing a narrow-lapeled two button suit. It’ll remain a classic

and forever modern. If you’re an on the fly kinda guy, the relaxed look might be for you.

Hop from the cafe meeting to the boardroom by throwing your suit jacket on top of your

polo (and add some socks while you’re at it). The ‘Relaxed Fit’ is about achieving a simple

and streamlined look that’s casually put together, but still means business. Forget about

the patterns, plaids, and prints – this vibe is about dressing the way you feel. I’m all about

wearing a crisp pair of white sneakers with a well tailored suit for the Spring/Summer

and the key to achieving the look is a minimalist shoe. Comfortable enough to take you

through your subway travels and comfortable with taking the backseat while your suit

does all the talking, the minimalist sneaker is a must-have.

Is this your vibe? I’ve linked a few alternative sneakers to wear with your suit below.

“The right suit sends the right message.”

I once read that somewhere and it’s stuck with me forever. Often times, when I’m

putting together a fit, I try to incorporate a piece to elevate an otherwise traditional

look. It’s not about making a statement but rather striking originality – originality

stands out! Introducing trendier pieces is a great was to rejuvenate your classics. Pair

a printed shirt (such as a floral) this summer with your light grey suit and take this look

from work to the bar. If you’re feeling brave, go for larger prints with a variety of color!

Despite the explosion of floral print on this Club Monaco shirt, it’s still relatively muted

under the grey suit and showcased well when you lose the jacket and roll up those

sleeves. Take chances this Spring/Summer and add some pattern and print to your suit

to dress with the season, and you’ll standout!

Looking for an alternative print to pair with your suit? I’ve linked my favorites below

that will work with your black, blue, and grey jackets:
